Patient records remain in Open Dental
Charts, treatment plans, clinical notes, and patient identifiers stay in the practice management system.
Practice Signals gives practices and advisors one place to review provider performance, month-over-month trends, AR aging, patient flow, and the outliers worth a second look.

Why we built this
Proveer Practice Management works with independent dental practices on the business side of care. Reviewing production, collections, AR, scheduling, and patient flow each month is part of how we work with the practices we serve — and the metrics that consistently matter are the ones the dashboard surfaces.
Practice Signals turns that review into a consistent monthly dashboard.
How it works
Practice Signals uses an authorized Open Dental data connection. After each month closes, it reads aggregated practice and provider metrics and updates the dashboard. It does not pull patient charts or clinical notes.
The result is a month-over-month view you can use before an owner meeting or advisor conversation.
What you’ll get
The dashboard starts with the numbers worth checking first.
Monthly production, collections, collection rate, and outstanding balances
Aging AR totals, including amounts over 90 days
How booked the schedule was during the closed month
New patients, retention, and reactivation
Production and collections by provider
Months where a metric drifted enough to deserve attention, surfaced for you instead of buried in a report
Data handling
Charts, treatment plans, clinical notes, and patient identifiers stay in the practice management system.
The dashboard is built from monthly totals, counts, and other summary figures. It is not a clinical workspace.
For advisors and consultants
If you advise dental practices, Practice Signals gives you and your clients the same closed-month view to review together. No separate reporting system to maintain between meetings.
We work directly with advisors who want to bring Practice Signals to the practices they serve. Onboarding is hands-on, and we will coordinate with each practice on Open Dental access.
